Glitch System Makeover
Joshua Smellie | 25th August, 2008
I've remade the way glitches are viewed on Glitches Exposed. Before the update, you would go to each games individual page which would list all of that games glitches as well as take you to a single page for a single glitch. This system caused a ton of problems in terms of updating for me (even moreso because Glitches Exposed does not use a Content Management System, and I cannot develop one).
So what I have done is remade the game pages. Basically, if you go to a game page, let's take Final Fantasy IV, for example, you will see a small summary of the game (who developed/published it and what date it was released) then links to the games glitches. The difference between the new system and the previous system was that the new one lists all the glitches on the same page - the games summary page.
This not only reduces the amount of pages found on the server (and therefore may reduce storage by a few kilobytes, not much more) but this is also slightly more convenient (this bit is arguble, look below for more) as you will no longer have to load more pages and hence, more images, therefore consuming more bandwidth.
The downsides is that it may make page loading slightly longer for any dial-up users. So in a sence, it becomes more convenient and inconvenient as well, depending on your location and what your internet connection is (dial-up users would have problems loading any page on any site regardless).
I hope this change doesn't affect people too much but if you have any problems with it or if you like it, you know how to contact me. As for glitch updates? Some new games have been added: Final Fantasy IV (PS), Final Fantasy X (PS2), Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2), The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (WII) and Super Smash Bros: Melee (WII).
New glitches and more to come!

Glitches Exposed is incredibly dire need of glitches so if you have any glitches, screenshots of glitches or glitch videos then please send them in to us via submissions@glitchesexposed.com. You will, of course, be credited as we always have done and will continue to do so.
Anyways, time for the new glitches! I've just added a few new games. Including: Soul Calibur III (PS3), Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour (NDS) and Final Fantasy 3 (also for the NDS). More games/glitches will be added (especially in the Final Fantasy region) very soon (yes I know I say this but gimme a break peoples, I'm a very busy man!).
In other news, my online portfolio, The Psychotic Factor, is up and can be found at www.randomtastic.com so please, visit that if you'd like to see the full portfolio of all my graphic design and web design work. If you're also a web/graphic designer then I'd love to see your work. Because honestly, in the graphic design area, I think I suck and would love to hear how other designers do their work (a few pointers never hurt anyone, did they?).
That's it for today. Check back in a few days for some more glitches!
And we're back!

Well, it's not only been a while since I last updated but I have an explanation, one you guys are deserving of (if there's even anymore of you out there...).
A few weeks back the previous host for Glitches Exposed terminated my account because of failure to meet the payment for this months hosting. I couldn't pay because my PayPal account had no funds it it, since then I've been looking for a new host that allowed debit card payments not through PayPal.
And I've found a decent one. Better than my last host for $1 more (double the resources). Regardless, once Glitches Exposed went down I couldn't get a backup of the forum because I couldn't afford what my previous host was asking to get the backup but that doesn't matter.
I've decided to remove the forum completely. I see no point in having it when it's not being used so unless a number of people actually write in asking for it to be remade (and I doubt that will happen) then for now, it won't exist.
Look out for a few more glitches in the next couple of days. I will be updating the site again with some more glitch pages and videos. So look out for those! And remember people, I'm still looking for help so if you're a capable writer and think you have what it takes to find glitches then give me a shout.
New Deus Ex Video
Joshua Smellie | 4th July, 2008
Made and uploaded a new glitch video for Deus Ex last night. This one is for the Deus Ex NPC Power! Glitch and the video can be viewed here.
More Deus Ex videos will be made in the upcoming week as well as some Pokemon Red/Blue and Zelda: Link's Awakening glitches (both for GBC, of course). Then later on I'll be adding some videos for the Baldur's Gate II, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Duke Nukem 3D games for the PC.
If you've got glitch videos for any game (or console) then feel free to send them to me at josh@glitchesexposed.com and I'll add 'em up. All submitted content will be credited to it's rightful owner and we claim no ownership on such content.
Search Tool
Joshua Smellie | 25th June, 2008
Wow, I'm actually updating the site for once. Anywho, let's get straight to business, shall we?
I added a search function to the website sometime last week and while it does work fine it didn't work to how I wanted. So I edited every pages title bar (the bar right at the top of your screen, on most sites it'll say the sites name or the page your viewing and then the browser your using's name).
So I took the time to edit every page of Glitches Exposed to make custom titles for all pages and now I feel sorry for the web designers who work at massive companies like IGN or GameSpot who have to manage every damn page. Glitches Exposed, at the moment, only have a couple of hundred pages, but sites like IGN have literally thousands and it's extremely boring to edit 200 pages let alone 1000 (just an example, I dunno if IGN has that many pages, most likely more).
Anyways, that's it from me for this time!
